Youth Training is a customized program that sets the foundation for athletic performance with proper age-level training techniques and corrections. Youth Training is a necessity for any young person who wants to advance foundation athletic skills that will help them stand beyond their competition.

YOUTH PERFORMANCE TRAINING
Determines athletic ability and shows growth toward goals. Testing includes speed, vertical jump, broad jump, agility, strength, core strength, flexibility / mobility & injury potential. Testing is done via computers for accuracy.
CUSTOMIZED PROGRAM DESIGN
Programs are designed specific to athletes goals, sport, position + weaknesses (found during assessment).
ENVIRONMENT & MINDSET
NST, first and foremost, focuses on mindset development (effort, confidence, grit, self awareness, leadership etc.) Speed, strength & power are the byproduct.
Younger kids that are pre-puberty or are in puberty, should not lift heavy external loads (heavy barbells, Dumbbells etc.) NST sports performance facilities use bands, body weight, kettlebells, dumbbells and plates instead. Progressive overload will be applied week to week.
SPEED / VERTICAL
Many believe speed & vertical is genetic gift and cannot be trainable. Gimmicks and poor programs have developed this narrative. The key to developing speed & vertical is horsepower and force per stride. NST performance sports training uses science, physics, mathematics and biomechanics to ensure results.
To eliminate human error, computers are used to ensure accuracy when reevaluating athletes to ensure progress has actually been made. If physique transformation is your goal, before and after photos can be provided upon request.
